Tessa Kay.  When we first heard her name, we fell in love!  What an adorable name for a new baby girl!  At Waterson Photography, we hear so many beautiful names for babies…and we’re noticing that so many of these names are returning to an older,  more “vintage” style of naming, and we’re loving it!

Little Miss Tessa Kay came with her parents and big sister to capture some newborn and family photos.  Tessa and big sister Quinn were so much fun to work with.  Tessa is a super chill little baby, and Quinn is just a gorgeous little girl with an infectious smile.  For Tessa’s newborn session, Mom requested soft pinks, creams and blushy tones to be used during their session, which resulted in a beautiful set full of soft colours being used as a backdrop to capture this beautiful family’s images.

We are really loving the images of Tessa and Quinn together on our vintage styled bed.  The soft tufted headboard, oversized pastel pink cushions, and white, flowy lace curtains added to the overall feminine touch of this set.  And Quinn is very clearly a doting big sister, and was just so proud to show off “her baby” while sharing hugs and kisses freely.

We love love love a baby girl in blue!  Tessa looks beautiful all snuggled up in our vintage-inspired cream bonnet against our blue Mongolian fur curls…such a soft nest for a little peanut.

And then there's the purple...absolutel perfection against Tessa's newborn fresh skin!

We really enjoyed our time with Tessa and her family, and can't wait to see them all again!
