Newborn | Nico | Greater Toronto Area Newborn Baby Photographer
Oh, Nico...little man of many faces!
Nico visited our photography studio in Pickering, coming all the way from Kleinburg, Ontario for his newborn session! We love when our clients trust us enough to capture beautiful images of their babies, that they travel from afar to enjoy a newborn session. But let's get back to Nico...
Yup, he was cute, alright! He visited us on Day 9, and was full of smiles and personality. The image below perfectly captures Nico while he was plotting and scheming to stay awake throughout his entire session...we can't help but laugh at this adorable little face!
He tried his hardest to stay awake, but sleep eventually did set in, and this allowed us to pose him beautifully in a variety of soft, neutral tones. When you book a newborn session at Waterson Photography, we always include a pre-session consultation. We want to know what is it that you're shooting for? Are you looking for wall art for specific rooms? What style of decor is in your home? What colours would you like to be incorporated into your baby's session, so that your wall art complements its surroundings? In Nico's case, we had request for greys, creams and blues, and Nico rocked them all!
As a newborn photographer, I always love photographing babies while they're sound asleep. This allows me to pose them perfectly, placing them in the most angelic positions, with tiny fingers and hands just so. But I also LOVE to photograph babies when they're wide awake, and we take advantage of these opportunities, when baby just isn't feeling the whole sleep thing. Admittedly, I often wrap them up like little peanuts, as this provides baby with the comfort and security he needs, while stopping his tiny limbs from flailing. Doesn't Nico look adorable all wrapped up in grey tones? We also know that parents love those wide awake shots, and they often become gallery favourites!
We always encourage parents to be photographed with their newborn babies, because we know how quickly they grow, and all too often, we hear from our clients that they WISH they had been photographed with baby's older siblings when they too were babies. Looking back at these images of you holding your tiny baby...we know how precious these images will be as time goes by. Our babies grow so fast, and this is a great opportunity to freeze time with an image. It was clear that Nico was loved much by his parents, and we can see that in the images below where he's held by his beautiful mama and handsome dad.
Above all, we want our newborn sessions to be something that parents will cherish forever. Yes, it's a lot of work to capture these beautiful images of your tiny, brand new baby. But we hope that the experience is one that is positive, and that stays in your heart forever.
Tell us, Nico, how did YOU enjoy your newborn session at Waterson Photography?
Ooooh, based on those cute little smiles, it looks as though you really enjoyed your time with us, Little Man! We hope to see you again for your milestone sessions!
