Newborn | Oliver | Toronto Baby Photographer
Oh Oliver! I think he may have stolen my heart when he visited us for his newborn photo session!!
Oliver was only 8 days old when his parents brought him to Waterson Photography. Our goal during this session was to capture some simple and beautiful images of this gorgeous little man…images that his parents and family would treasure forever.
Oliver was certainly up to the task. He slept beautifully while we posed him in a variety of different sets…he mastered the froggie pose, which not every baby can do. He posed in our tiny wooden bed prop, which is just big enough for a tiny newborn to fit into. And the wagon! Our teeny little red wagon prop, which is so tiny that it only holds babies under 7 pounds or so, who are small enough to curl into its tiny little space.
During his newborn session, little man Oliver was full of smiles, and he gave them freely. We spotted at least six full smiles during his time in our studio. Clearly, he was very content having during his first professional photoshoot!
During any newborn session, we fully welcome parents being involved. Whether it’s choosing outfits or backdrop colours, or selecting the ideal bucket or prop for your baby to be photographed in, your input is most welcome! Oliver’s dad is a visual guy, and had great taste! His input in selecting backdrop fabrics and colours for his little man was spot on, and it resulted in a beautiful gallery of images for Oliver’s family to enjoy for generations.
During our pre-session consultation, we discussed ideal colours…colours that would match the family’s home décor, so that when images were printed as large art pieces, they would beautifully complement the home’s interior (or, should we say, the home’s interior would beautifully complement this gorgeous little man’s newborn photos!).
Another successful newborn session with a smiley little subject. Our job doesn’t get any better than this!
